The problem is that... I don't have enough time to play with that now. It's still sealed. T_T...
Nevertheless, I'll upload the photos of my macbook soon.
I also got an iPod touch 8G, for free :), through the apple promotion 'Back to School'.
I was planning to sell the iPod to compensate the expenses I used to buy my macbook.
But.. after I had used it for a few days.. I just fell in love with the iPod :)
I can check email, papers, news and etc (including game!!) in my bed.
Of course, I jailbreaked the iPod.

update #0. essential application : Firefox, Picasa3, Adium, VLC, Growl, smcFanControl, Gmail Notifier + Growl, iStatPro, Xee, NTFS-3G, MacFuse and etc.
update #1. OK don't use fink.. If you want to use it, just use it until installing python, numpy and scipy. Then independently install all other libraries without using fink (e.g. matplotlib, ipython, rpy and R!!!!!!.. piece of shit..)
update #2. OK macport looks not bad. so far so good. BTW, I'm installing R and rpy by myself now. I'm not using macport to install them.
update #3. I installed R and Rpy. Note that you can install any version of R higher than 2.6 on Leopard. During compiling rpy 1.0.3 you will get the error about the Rdevices.h. Just comment the 'include' line in Rpy.h in rpy/src directory. Then it should work.
update #3.1 I installed R 2.9.1 binary package compiled for Leopard. It provides nice GUI but... has some problems. If you run the R using the terminal, it cannot load tcltk library, which means you might not be able to use the GUI. Nevertheless, it doesn't matter for me because I might use R only in python environment :)
update #4. Texshop + BibDesk is quite cool.
update #5. There is no cut & paste in Finder as Window Explorer has...
update #5.1 Path Finder has a function for cut & paste. Nice.
update #6. UntraEdit for Linux/Mac is coming soon. I cannot wait!
update #7. Let's try to use Quicksilver. Everybody says it's a quite nice application.
update #8. Coherence mode of Parallel is awesome.
update #9. There is mac version DiffMerge. Nice.
update #101. wow.. iPod + Remote can control iTune on Mac!!! Awesome..
I don't need to wake up from my bed to turn on/off musics.
I copied about 80GB music files from my friend :)

I have to admit that there are not as much great softwares for Mac as for Window.
So far, in my opinion, only one advantage of Mac is its user-friendly interface.
Nothing more than that. But, that is actually HUGE advantage over Window..
(ah, one more thing. If you use linux all the time, mac is a good choice for you just like for me.
I don't give much credit to Mac's pretty appearance. I prefer functionality than beauty.)
And, I also realized how much the Thinkpad T42, my previous laptop, is well-made laptop :)
